Probabilistic Modeling and AI for Science
Probabilistic Modeling and AI for Science
Probabilistic modeling and AI for for science (PMAS, pronounced pumas) is a research group at the University of Toronto led by Dr. Vianey Leos Barajas and is dedicated to the development of statistical methodology, Bayesian inference, and AI algorithms to answer pressing questions in science. Our work focuses on the analysis of sensor data collected from animals and the environment over time and space but our highly interdisciplinary nature has built collaborations in astronomy, chemistry, sports and other areas.
